Translation: Theory and Practice

This course introduces students to the theory and practice of translation between English and Indonesian. Students learn core translation concepts, methods, and strategies, and apply them to translating different text types while addressing issues of equivalence, meaning, and cultural context. They also develop critical thinking by evaluating translation quality and justifying their translation choices through practical projects.
